2 Used Platt Locking Latch Vintage Hard Case Luggage, 1 w/ Key - No Foam Inserts ESTATE FIND! Selling a pair of large Platt company industrial hard shell cases. These have been American made for over 100 years, and are known to outlive the life of their customer. The smaller one measures approximately 22” x 17” x 5.5 inches. It has two locking latches, but no key… However both latches are currently unlocked. The larger one measures approximately 28” x 22” x 5. 5 inches. Both of its latches work and a key is included. Each has a metal plate attached which reads: “PLATT LUGGAGE, Professional cases for business and industry.” Thick leather wrapped handles. There are no foam inserts for either case, but obviously you could add those easily if desired. Vintage preowned condition, overall nice but with some scuffs, dirt and minor wear from use. There is some plating loss on the latches of the larger one, as shown. I made no attempt to clean for the photographs. Selling as-is with no returns, so please ask before bidding if you have any questions. ***TAKE A GOOD LOOK! Some nice well-made industrial cases for your tools, music or sound equipment, cameras, hunting supplies, etc.*** Please note: I do not have a box large enough to ship these in, so I will nestle the small one inside the large one, and put the large one in a poly bag for shipping. Since these are well-made, tough, hard cases, I believe this will be a safe and the most cost-effective way to ship.
