This is built to allow a small child and an adult to ride together. We have found that this fits in most overhead compartments. If you are traveling on a very small plane you may need to check at the gate. The RS200 Is a smart RidingSuitcase. The lithium battery allows for this to be carried onto the plane with you. There are 2 USB charging portS. You will be able to reach speeds up to 8-10 mph and on average 4-5 miles off a single charge. The distance varies based upon surface that you are riding on along with the weight of the rider. The given weight limit is 250 LBS. we have customers that are up to 300 LBS using these items with no problems but we ask you to proceed at your own risk of weighing in over the 250 LB limit. These are suitable for both adults and children. We recommend that children be at least 6 years old to operate. We have a smaller unit which is the RS150 which is more suitable for younger children.
