consideration is a nice Coach trolley suitcase, model #JOL-5496. It
is crafted of ballistic nylon with quite a bit of leather trim. The
bag comes with Coach ID tag and Coach small tag. It is in nice, but
not mint condition. There is some wear around the edges and to the
handles (see pics), but the bag is very presentable and the interior
is almost perfect. All zips and the handle function just as they
should; one of the zips is missing its leather pull. The closest
thing to this in Coach's current catalog is $695, and it is smaller
with almost no leather. New, this one was $595. Now, it's $175. About leather:
I've never understood why anybody would want to buy a new leather
bag. All that shiny newness just makes you look like a
wet-behind-the-ears rookie. The look you want is the experienced
guy/gal in the aisle seat in first class. The one with the clean but
slightly battered bag that's obviously been around, perhaps around
the world. It's a high quality bag, because the cheap ones just
don't hold up, and this one has done that. It's called “gravitas”,
