EMS Internal Frame Travel Backpack Convertible Suitcase w/

I used this large internal frame backpack / suitcase / detachable day backpack only once for a four-month round-the-world trip.  Besides being large and comfy, it is multi-functional so that I could use it for everything from a taking a day hike to stowing on a train to carrying into a fine hotel.  It's made by EMS Eastern Mountain Sports and made of a heavy-duty polyester with a nylon lining. The large backpack can be opened in the back to reveal the padded shoulder and hip straps. With the back flap closed and the straps stored, you can carry it as a suitcase with the padded shoulder or hand strap. Inside is very roomy, with mesh pockets and a detachable toiletry bag. It also includes a zip-on detachable day hike backpack, which has padded back and straps as well as inner pocket. This teal blue EMS 5000 Travel luggage package is still in excellent condition and ready for lots more use.
