Travel Luggage Labels Before World War II labels were used to mark traveler’s
luggage to show where they were headed. As international travel for vacations rapidly declined
due to the war, travel labels for roads, hotels and popular travel destinations,
became popular to collect on road trips. During this time period, they were
used to decorate travel cases, steamer trunk luggage, cars and other travel
supplies. Many believe they caught on so fast because they where some of the
first self adhesive labels that were available to the general public.
Labels before that required a special application process. Measures 4-1/2" Diameter. Condition: Corners
and edges are sharp. Very Nice condition. Small push pin hole on top. Free
