Stately Travel Antique Leather Writing Stationery Briefcase Luggage

This is a fantastic leather travel stationery briefcase. Very ergonomic, compact and organized with multiple compartments. High level of craftsmanship in the leather work. Beautiful working brass lock, includes original key! Impressed on the front is the original owner's name "G.L. Wallington" and dated " Feb. 1903".
Good condition with time worn wear, the leather is still flexible. The right strap on the front has a tear halfway through. Please review photos for further assessment. Wonderful rich brown tone to the exterior. Measures 11 inches wide, 8.5 inches high, and 3.25 inches deep. This makes a great decorator piece for a desk or shelf and could also be used as originally intended.
