A vintage piece of travel charm purchased in China Town in the between 1960-1975 -- not exactly sure of the date. Light brown background plaid with white and blue-lined squares with dark brown trim. Hand-held handles match the trim material. Vinyl or heavy plastic - synthetic material. Satchel in style, this bag has two extensions that zip closed along the bottom part of the suitcase: Both extensions are 5 inches so another 10 inches in height make the travel suitcase either good for a week or 2 vacation OR zipped closed, could even serve as a weekend with those extra 10 inches zipped up. The Front side has an extra zippered compartment for passports and documents or reading materials etc -- Inside is a label only in foreign asian language. The extension for Shoulder carrying is missing. 4 wheels on the bottom of the suitcase are ALL in GREAT condition. Total height with extensions open is 21 inch in height -- 18-20 inches lengths and about 10 inches at base width tapering upward a little smaller in the top of the 'satchel' style. The hooks for the shoulder carrier are still there and in great condition -- just no straps..... other than some minor tearing in the synthetic material about wheels that might appear due to weight inside the bag, as well as a little difficulty when opening the both of the 2 extension compartments which seem to open and close better now that they've been dug out of storage and handled --- there are no flaws of any value to report --- the front of bag has the brand -- a large WOOJOO -- which is a difficult if almost impossible (in this researchers case) to find today --- VINTAGE CHARM --- would make a great bag for settings in earlier times in film/stage/ etc... great prop or a great USE NOW tool for any travel needs, perhaps both extensions closed for a weekender, still a great size at approxmately 12-13 inches high (of course with stuff packed in the dimensions grow a tad).....
