Antique Bamboo Rattan Wicker Cane Suitcase Luggage Trunk Train Case.
This gorgeous antique suitcase, trunk or piece of luggage is pretty old, probably early 1900s..
It’s made of pine that’s wrapped with woven rattan or wicket type basket weave.
This has aged beautifully to a rich, medium-brown shade. The handles are a non magnetic brass or metal hardware. The rest of the hardware is some other type of magnetic metal.There are 2 handles.
This is large but not too large not as big as a large suitcase.
This has been restored inside and out and is a showpiece!
It has old paint some type of dark paint or dark finish on a lot of the areas as seen in my photos.
The wicker or bamboo or rattan looks like it was black at one time and then has been removed.
It looks in very good shape please also judge condition by the pictures.
I don’t see any major flaws and problems with this it’s actually very beautiful. Looks like brass grommets or buttons also on the bamboo sides.
It’s in “antique” condition with wear consistent with the age.
It looks FANTASTIC and overall is very strong and sturdy.
It’s a rare find and especially nice that it’s ready to use and display.
This is a large suitcase case and weighs over 7 pounds.
It measures 20 inches wide x 14 inches high x 7 inches deep.
